YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO IMPROVISE?

If you don't, then truthfully, you don't have a necessary skill to work in the industry today.

IN FIVE WEEKS YOU CAN TURN THIS AROUND.

Acting Studio LA would like to announce a very special 5-week intensive with Master Improv Actor/Teacher David Razowsky.

David Razowsky is the only Improv teacher I recommend wholeheartedly. Not only is he the top in his field, having been artistic director of Second City, and worked with Dreamworks, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Amy Sedaris, Steppenwolf and Reduced Shakespeare Co, but the specific Improv skills he teaches are absolutely essential to the career of the contemporary actor. In the past fifteen years the industry landscape has changed dramatically. Most everything, from the studio film, to the webisode, is shot beyond the script. In this market actors must be comfortable and adept at improvisation. In order to get work, and once you get work, you will be asked to "Improvise"...will you know what to do? In this instance you must not do the "This is your line" thing. That doesn't work in the world of professional film and TV.

David will teach you to "speak in the voice of the character." This intensive workshop is focused on getting the actor to become comfortable organically developing a character within a given set of circumstances. Students will be taught how to effortlessly create instant relationships, compelling points of view, strong character choices and exciting and natural scenarios.

"David is great. I would take a class from David anytime, anywhere."
– Bob Shearer (House MD, Conan O'Brien)

"You can't find a better, more knowledgeable teacher anywhere.  Every single student I've ever talked to walking out of one of his classes or workshops does nothing but sing his praises.  The improvement in your work is immediate and tangible."
– Christie Insley (Boston Legal, Joan of Arcadia)

"David is a very meticulous and thoughtful instructor. He has a unique approach that enables students to apply solid improv techniques to their acting, allowing them to go beyond cliché characterizations by tapping into their own personalities to bring real characters to life."
– Lak Rana (CSI: Miami, Medium, Nip Tuck)

"David’s approach to improvisation really opened my eyes to a whole new way of thinking."
– Former student

"...an amazing teacher and pushes every student to reach the best of their ability."
– Former student

"David was beyond excellent - he was an inspirational master guru of improv instruction!"
– Former student
